COMMUNi T Presents Bahamia: A 68-Unit Low-Cost Green Subdivision
Bahamia is a 68-unit single-family green development created for low to medium-income first-time buyers. Designed with sustainability, affordability, and community well-being in mind, Bahamia is more than just a neighborhood—it’s a movement toward equitable homeownership.
Built by COMMUNI-T, Bahamia offers:
- Eco-friendly, resilient homes with ICF and solar energy
- A Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) onsite for accessible healthcare
- Communal spaces, playgrounds, and fitness areas for a thriving community
- Sustainable infrastructure that lowers costs and benefits the environment
What Is Bahamia?

Bahamia is a direct response to Sacramento’s Missing Middle Housing Initiative, which seeks to bridge the gap between low-income housing and high-end developments. By creating sustainable, energy-efficient homes at an accessible price point, this project will provide stable housing opportunities for working families, first-time homebuyers, and underserved populations, including BIPOC communities and immigrant families. Each home will incorporate eco-friendly features such as solar panels, insulated concrete form (ICF) construction, and resource-efficient designs to promote long-term affordability and resilience against climate change.
Why Bahamia?

- Healthcare Access – An onsite health clinic ensures that residents receive essential medical services within their own community.Community-First
- Design – Thoughtfully planned green spaces, playgrounds, and fitness areas for families to connect and grow.
- Affordable & Accessible – A pathway to homeownership for first-time buyers, breaking barriers to equity and generational wealth.
